Dear Patients and Family,

In the event that you might not already be aware, I am writing to inform you of Dr. J. Michael Pepek's untimely death.

Several years ago, because of his commitment to his patients, Dr. Pepek made provisions with the Pioneer Valley Orthodontic Associates Study Group, a group of practicing orthodontists of similar training and ideals, to assure the continuity of treatment for his patients.

The Pioneer Valley Group and I will assist you in your continuing care as we finalize long-term plans for Dr. Pepek's patients and practice.

Unless you receive other information, please continue to keep your regular appointments with Dr. Pepek's office and all other arrangements made with Dr. Pepek. A great deal of care went into the planning of these arrangements so that you or you family member's orthodontic care will continue to the high standards set by Dr. Pepek. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time. Please feel free to contact our office at 413-562-1112 with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely yours,
Katherine Clarke
Practice Administrator, The Offices of Dr. J. Michael Pepek, D.D.S.

Braces for Children and Adults
Children:
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a child’s first orthodontic check-up no later than age 7! This is important, because some orthodontic problems can be easier to correct if found and treated early. Most orthodontic patients begin active treatment between the ages of 9 and 14.

Adults:
Today, more than 30% of orthodontic patients are over 18 years old. Overcrowding, crooked and protruding teeth, and improper bite are just some of the conditions that can be corrected in many people, regardless of age. And with use of lighter, less conspicuous wires and “invisible” braces, adults are more likely than ever to seek orthodontic treatment.
We look forward to meeting you soon.    •    Please call today to schedule your consultation.
